Where do I obtain a building permit?
Building Permit Applications may be obtained at the Construction Office located in the old Christie Hoffman Farmhouse, 108 Fairmount Road West (County Route 512). The Construction Office is open Monday through Friday 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM. For questions, contact 908-832-5552.
The construction office is an interlocal between Tewksbury Twp, Lebanon Twp, and Califon for building permits being issued and inspected only. Once the permit is completed and closed, all files regarding the property will be filed with the correct municipality.
What is needed to obtain a license for a dog?
All dogs, seven months of age or older, must be licensed in the Township of Tewksbury. A valid rabies certificate along with an annual fee of $10.00 for a spayed/neutered animal or $13.00 for an unaltered animal is required. A monthly late fee of $5.00 will be incurred after February 28th of the licensing year.

How can I vote by mail?
Registered voters can apply for a vote-by-mail ballot by following the instructions found at VOTE.NJ.GOV or contacting the County Clerk.
Once you have filled out your ballot you can RETURN it in the following ways:
Mail: Your vote-by-mail ballot MUST be postmarked on or before 8:00 p.m. on Election Day and be received by your county’s Board of Elections on or before the sixth day after the close of the polls.
Secure Ballot Drop Box: Place your vote-by-mail ballot in one of your county’s secure by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.
Board of Elections Office: Deliver your vote-by-mail ballot in person to your county’s Board of Elections Office by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.
How do I pay a parking ticket?
Traffic tickets and other violations are handled by the Tewksbury Township Municipal Court located at 60 Water Street. The office is open on Tuesdays from 12:30 PM - 4:30 PM (Except on court days which is the 3rd Tuesday of the month it will open at 10:00 AM) and Wednesdays from 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM. Residents may contract with private garbage haulers to have their trash and recycling picked up.
Some of the haulers servicing the Township of Tewksbury are Republic Services, Premier Disposal, LMR Disposal and Waste Management.
The Annandale Transfer Station is located on Petticoat Lane in Clinton Township and is open for receipt of recyclables Monday through Friday 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM and Saturday 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
