The Assessor is responsible for assigning the value of real property within Tewksbury Township. This value is an assessment which is used as a basis for taxation.

Please note that during office hours, the Assessor may be out of the office conducting field inspections, therefore, it is suggested that you contact the assessor's office to confirm that the office will be open.

In compliance with state statutes, as well as procedures set forth by the County Board of Taxation, the Assessor values and assesses all real property in the Township for the purpose of equitable distribution of the real property tax requirements of the municipality, as well as the school system and county government.
