To hunt Township parkland and open space, you must purchase a Deer Management permit from the Tewksbury Township Police Department.
Completed Bow Permit Applications will be accepted for Township residents and employees beginning at 8:00 AM on August 7th, and for all others at 8:00 AM on August 9th. Applications must be returned in person at the Tewksbury Township Police Department between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM, no applications will be accepted after 2:00 PM on August 11th.
Applicants MUST read the Tewksbury Township Deer Management Program Rules and Regulations; complete the 2023-2024 Bow Permit Application, or 2023-2024 Firearm Permit Application, the Applicant Certifications/Consent Forms, provide a copy of their driver’s license, a copy of their 2023-2024 NJ Hunting License, and a copy of proof of $1,000,000 minimum liability insurance.
All applicants for the Firearms Season are required to complete the Applicant Certifications/Consent Forms, even if already completed for the Bow Season.

Permit Information

- Shotgun, Muzzleloader - Oct. 2 & 3 (For Tewksbury residents/employees only); Oct. 4 - 6 (all hunters)
